SUNSETH MIDNIGHT Working On New Material

Brazilian gothic rockers SUNSETH MIDNIGHT are working on material for their as-yet-untitled new album.

"After the Christmas and New Year holidays, I got back to the songwriting for the new stuff," says guitarist Ricardo Campos. "At the same time, the bass player, Ricardo Piccoli, sent me some great ideas, which we'll work out soon, and the other SUNSETH MIDNIGHT members will join us on the process during the upcoming months. I cannot say exactly when we'll enter the studio or the precise date for the album release yet. This time we are much more into the details for the songwriting process and the arrangements in comparison on what was done in 'Sun Seth'. We worked great for that album, but now there are new possibilities and new members with a lot of potential, so it means that higher levels surely will be reached. On the new album the band will keep the same style as presented in 'Sun Seth', but being our motto 'do not have limits' you can expect some great surprises."

An early version of a new song, entitled "Love Chaser", can be heard on the band's MySpace page.

The follow-up to 2006's "Sun Seth" is expected to see the light of day late 2008/early 2009 via an as-yet-undetermined label.
